Stillness Before the Pour
Hey my beautiful Bold Coffee Talk family
Come sit with me for a moment.
Not to hustle.
Not to fix.
Not to perform.
Just to be.
Today isn’t about doing more—it’s about remembering who you are before the noise, the pressure, the expectations. Life has a way of pulling us into survival mode, convincing us that rest is weakness and stillness is wasted time. But I want to remind you of something important: you are allowed to pause without losing momentum.
If you’ve been feeling tired in your spirit, not because you’re lazy but because you’ve been strong for too long—this is your permission slip to exhale.
You don’t have to have it all figured out today.
You don’t have to explain your growth to anyone.
You don’t have to earn rest.
Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is slow down long enough to hear God again.
Bible Verse:
“Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28
Let this be a reminder that you were never meant to carry everything alone. God is not rushing you. He’s refining you. And what’s meant for you will meet you—even in stillness.
Before you move on with your day, ask yourself:
• What do I need right now—truly?
• Where have I been pouring without refilling?
• What would trusting God more and striving less look like today?
Affirmation:
I am safe to rest. I am guided, supported, and held. What’s meant for me unfolds in divine timing.
Thank you for being here, for choosing growth, for choosing yourself—even on the quiet days. Bold Coffee Talk isn’t just a space to be inspired, it’s a space to breathe, heal, and come back home to yourself.
With love and warmth,
Mel
