Picking Up the Pieces, One Step at a Time
My Dear Journal Community,
Today I sat with my coffee and my journal, staring at a blank page. I thought about the setbacks I’ve faced — the moments that shook me to the point where I questioned everything: my worth, my direction, even my faith.
But then I realized… every single setback left me with something. A lesson. A moment of clarity. A chance to grow.
Confidence doesn’t come when life is easy. It comes in the moments where you decide to rise, even when you feel like you can’t. I’m learning to give myself grace — to stop expecting overnight change and to honor the small steps that matter.
Some days, confidence feels far away. But when I pause, pray, and remind myself that I am not doing this alone, strength begins to return.
“God is within her, she will not fall.” – Psalm 46:5
That verse sits with me today. It tells me that even when I feel like I’m falling apart, I am being held together by something greater than myself.
So tonight, I’m choosing to believe that confidence is being rebuilt in me — slowly, gently, and purposefully. And if you’re reading this, I want you to remember: you don’t have to have it all together. You just have to take the next step.
Daily Affirmation
“I am being rebuilt stronger than I was before. My confidence grows with each step I take.”
