The People I Thought Would Always Be There
Hello, my Bold Coffee Talk community. ☕️
I’ve been thinking about how quietly relationships can change.
Not necessarily because someone did something terrible. Sometimes two people simply stop reaching for each other the way they once did..and that can be difficult to accept when you remember birthdays, vacations, inside jokes, late-night conversations, and the version of life where you couldn’t imagine not being close.
I’m learning that I don’t have to make those memories less meaningful just because the relationship looks different today. Some people are part of our whole story. Others are deeply important chapters. Both can matter.
Have you ever had to make peace with a relationship changing even though you still cared about the person?
You can appreciate what was without forcing it to become what it used to be.
